Disguised Alpha
By placing an order on disguisedalpha.com, by creating a customer account, or by otherwise using this website, you (the “Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) in their entirety. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, do not place an order and do not use this website. These Terms incorporate the Return & Refund Policy and the Shipping Policy, both reproduced in full below.
You may not place an order or use this website unless all of the following are true:
You are 21 years of age or older.
You are a resident of the United States.
You are purchasing products strictly for laboratory Research Use Only (RUO).
You acknowledge that all products sold by Disguised Alpha are not intended for human consumption, clinical diagnostic use, or any in vivo application.
Misrepresenting your age, residency, or intended use is grounds for immediate cancellation of any order, banning from future service, and any legal remedy available.
All prices are listed in United States Dollars (USD).
Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.
An order is not accepted until payment has been authorized and the order is acknowledged by Disguised Alpha via email.
Once an order is fulfilled, all sales are final except as expressly outlined in the Return & Refund Policy below.
Disguised Alpha reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.
Due to the nature of research compounds and in accordance with strict quality control, contamination prevention, and regulatory compliance standards, all sales are final. Once an order has been fulfilled and shipped, it cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded except as expressly outlined below.
Disguised Alpha produces and supplies laboratory research compounds that require controlled handling, storage, and chain-of-custody integrity. Every item is manufactured, tested, and packaged under controlled conditions to ensure purity, accuracy, and quality.
For this reason, returned products cannot be reintroduced into inventory, and we do not accept returns under any circumstances once an order has shipped. This includes, but is not limited to:
Change of mind
Ordering errors
Improper storage after delivery
Refused or undeliverable shipments
Opened, used, or tampered items
Once an order has been fulfilled, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.
Orders may be canceled and fully refunded only if the cancellation request is received before the order has shipped. Once fulfillment has begun or a shipping confirmation has been issued, the order can no longer be canceled.
If you believe you have received an incorrect item or vials that were physically damaged during transit, please contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the issue.
To be eligible for review, you must provide:
Clear, unedited photographs of the affected vial(s)
Photos of the original packaging and shipping materials
Images of the shipping box showing any external damage
Only verifiable carrier-related damage resulting in broken vials will be considered for replacement or refund. Cosmetic issues, minor packaging imperfections, temperature concerns, or unsupported claims do not qualify.
All Disguised Alpha vials are shipped using custom, rigid protective enclosures manufactured from high-impact polymer materials commonly used in industrial 3D printing applications. These enclosures fully surround and immobilize each vial to prevent movement, impact, or pressure damage during transit.
Due to this level of protection, vials cannot be damaged under normal shipping conditions. For a vial to arrive broken, the shipment would have to be subjected to extreme force, such as severe crushing, heavy impact, or comparable abuse during transit. As a result, any damage claims are carefully reviewed, and only damage consistent with carrier-related mishandling will be considered for replacement or refund.
Disguised Alpha maintains a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent refund requests.
Claims involving:
Customer-caused damage
Post-delivery tampering
Altered, staged, or manipulated images
Reused photographs from prior orders
Inconsistent or misleading information
will be denied. Submitting falsified damage claims may result in refusal of future service and legal action.
Refunds or replacements will not be issued for:
Unbroken or intact vials
Claims submitted outside the 48-hour notification window
Insufficient or unclear documentation
Carrier delays once marked as shipped or delivered. Lost package claims must be made with the carrier
Improper storage or handling after delivery
All refund or replacement determinations are made solely at the discretion of Disguised Alpha following review of submitted documentation. All decisions are final.
Disguised Alpha ships every order through FedEx. Each order is assigned a FedEx tracking number at the time the shipping label is generated, and that tracking number is delivered by email to the address on file for the order. Customers can track every shipment in real time at fedex.com/tracking using the provided tracking number.
All orders ship via FedEx. Disguised Alpha does not use third-party freight consolidators.
Every order receives a tracking number. No order leaves our facility without one.
Tracking is provided to the customer by email at the time of label generation.
Disguised Alpha’s responsibility for an order is fulfilled when both of the following have occurred:
The package has been picked up by, or handed off to, FedEx for transit, and
A FedEx tracking number has been provided to the customer.
Once both conditions are met, fulfillment is complete on our side. From that point forward, custody, transit, and delivery of the package are the responsibility of FedEx.
Disguised Alpha is not responsible for:
Packages marked “Delivered” by FedEx that the customer reports as not received
Packages stolen from a porch, mailbox, building lobby, or other location after FedEx delivery
Carrier delays of any kind, including weather, holidays, mechanical, or systemic FedEx delays
Misdelivery by FedEx to the address provided on the order
Any other transit issue caused by the carrier
If a package is genuinely lost in transit (i.e., not yet showing as “Delivered”), Disguised Alpha will assist the customer in filing a FedEx trace request and any applicable carrier insurance claim. Resolution is at FedEx’s discretion and governed by FedEx policy.
Customers may add FedEx Direct Signature Required service to any order at checkout for an additional fee. This service requires FedEx to obtain a recipient signature at the point of delivery, providing strong proof of receipt. Disguised Alpha strongly recommends this option for high-value orders or any order being shipped to a location where unattended packages may be at risk of theft.
Customers offered Signature Confirmation at checkout who decline this option accept full responsibility for any loss, theft, or non-receipt after FedEx marks the package as Delivered. Disguised Alpha will not honor lost-package claims for shipments where Signature Confirmation was offered and declined.
Filing a false claim regarding the delivery of a shipment is a federal offense under United States law. Specifically:
Mail Fraud — 18 U.S.C. § 1341 — up to 20 years in federal prison
Wire Fraud — 18 U.S.C. § 1343 — up to 20 years in federal prison if the claim is filed online or through any electronic channel (chargeback, email dispute, web form)
If a customer knowingly files a chargeback, payment dispute, insurance claim, or written or electronic complaint alleging non-delivery of a package that FedEx records show was delivered, Disguised Alpha will:
Submit complete FedEx delivery evidence to the customer’s card issuer or payment processor, including delivery scan timestamp, GPS coordinates of the delivery scan, address verification data, and any carrier-captured delivery photo.
File a formal report with FedEx Security and engage their fraud investigation unit in support of the case.
Pursue all available civil remedies, including but not limited to claims for common-law fraud, conversion, and breach of contract.
Disguised Alpha retains a complete delivery record for every shipment, including tracking timestamps, scan-by-scan transit history, GPS coordinates of the delivery scan, address verification, and any carrier-supplied delivery photos. These records are made available to law enforcement, payment processors, and courts as required.
Customers who knowingly file false delivery claims will be reported, prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and permanently barred from future orders.
Any claim of non-delivery must be reported to Disguised Alpha within 7 days of the FedEx delivery scan. Claims submitted outside this window cannot be investigated and will not be honored. This window exists because carrier investigations require timely intervention; delayed reporting prevents meaningful resolution and is itself a recognized indicator of fraudulent intent.
The customer is solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and current shipping address at checkout. Disguised Alpha is not responsible for:
Packages delivered to an outdated address provided by the customer
Packages returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address
Reshipment fees on returned packages caused by customer-provided address errors
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact the customer; the cost of reshipment is the customer’s responsibility.
Customers who file repeated non-delivery claims across multiple orders will trigger an account review. Disguised Alpha reserves the right to refuse future service to any customer whose claim history is inconsistent with carrier delivery records.
All shipping-related determinations — including but not limited to lost-package investigations, replacement decisions, and reshipment authorizations — are made solely at the discretion of Disguised Alpha following review of carrier records and any documentation submitted. All decisions are final.
All products sold by Disguised Alpha are sold as research compounds for laboratory use only. No warranty, express or implied, is made regarding the safety or effectiveness of any product for human use, clinical use, or in vivo application.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Disguised Alpha’s total liability arising out of or in connection with any order, regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, statutory, or otherwise), shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific order at issue.
Disguised Alpha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or damages for personal injury arising from misuse of any product.
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Disguised Alpha, its officers, members, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of:
The Customer’s misuse of any product purchased from Disguised Alpha, including but not limited to any use outside of laboratory research.
The Customer’s breach of these Terms.
Any false, fraudulent, or misleading statement made by the Customer to Disguised Alpha, FedEx, any payment processor, any insurance carrier, or any government agency in connection with an order.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them, your order, or your use of this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
The Customer agrees that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and the Customer consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
Disguised Alpha reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon posting to this website. The “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of this website or placement of new orders after a modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Return & Refund Policy and the Shipping Policy reproduced herein, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Disguised Alpha with respect to the subject matter and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and representations, whether written or oral.
