What has BPC-157 been studied for?

A 2003 primary study investigated BPC-157 in a rat Achilles-tendon injury model and in cultured tendon cells. The authors reported changes in mechanical and microscopic measures of repair and in cellular responses under the conditions they tested. This provides preclinical research context; it does not establish a treatment benefit in people or demonstrate that this commercial material is equivalent to the material used in that study.
