Bioregulator
Cartalax is a short peptide made of three amino acids: Ala-Glu-Asp. Papers often call it AED, and older papers code it T-31. The same three amino acids open epitalon, which is Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. We supply Cartalax as a 20MG lyophilized vial for lab research.

Lyophilized research material
Cartalax is a short peptide made of three amino acids: Ala-Glu-Asp. Papers often call it AED, and older papers code it T-31. The same three amino acids open epitalon, which is Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. We supply Cartalax as a 20MG lyophilized vial for lab research.
Cartalax comes from a short-peptide research group in St Petersburg, Russia. The group calls these peptides bioregulators. The word is their own term, not a drug class.
| Compound | Cartalax. |
|---|---|
| Sequence | Ala-Glu-Asp (AED). |

| Total content | 20MG. |
| Format | Lyophilized research vial. |
| Research area | Cartilage and connective tissue models. |
The Cartalax literature is small. PubMed holds about 20 records. Nearly all come from one St Petersburg institute and its partners. The work uses cell cultures, tissue explants, computer docking and rats. We found no independent replication.
The name points to cartilage, but direct cartilage work is recent and thin. In a 2023 study, human stem cells were aged by repeated passage in culture. The authors reported that the peptide raised expression of the chondrogenic markers SOX9, aggrecan, type II collagen and COMP (Myakisheva et al., 2023).
A 2020 study of aging human skin fibroblasts reported more sirtuin-1, sirtuin-6 and collagen I with the peptide (Fridman et al., 2020). A 2014 study used aging kidney cell cultures. It reported that T-31 activated cell renewal, judged by Ki-67 and p53 (Khavinson et al., 2014).
A peptide product needs more than a label. We check identity, test records, the finished vial, the label, storage needs and packing.
Retain the product label and lot number with the research record. Review the matching certificate of analysis for test coverage and reported results. Identity, analytical purity, measured content, sterility and endotoxin testing are distinct assessments; one does not establish the others.
Follow the supplied label and your laboratory’s validated handling and storage procedures. Record the vehicle, concentration and preparation date where relevant. Dry-material stability does not establish the shelf life of a prepared solution.
The listed milligrams refer to material per vial, not concentration or administration instructions. A prepared solution has its own concentration and stability requirements. Verify the exact selected option and shipping lot.
Open the linked certificate for the assigned lot or use the COA portal. Check sample identity, methods, date and reported measurements. A report for another lot or formulation is not a substitute.
The current certificate is matched to the selected product option and assigned shipping batch.
