Why a finished spray

This is not a spray kit. It needs no reconstitution and no saline mixing. It also needs no transfer to a separate spray bottle. So there is no dilution step and no transfer step to track.

What is Dihexa?

Dihexa is a synthetic, peptide-derived compound. It was developed from angiotensin IV. Its full name is N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6) aminohexanoic amide. PubChem lists it as C₂₇H₄₄N₄O₅ at 504.7 g/mol.

Research areas

Labs study Dihexa in hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) pathway research. It is also used in synaptogenesis and neuroplasticity models. Other work looks at cognitive pathways and central nervous system signaling.

Its developers proposed that Dihexa acts through HGF and its receptor, c-Met. The 2014 paper behind that idea was retracted in 2025. So the mechanism is still a hypothesis. See the Dihexa research guide for full citations.
