Lyophilized research material
VIP is a research peptide. Each vial holds 5MG of lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Labs study it in models of immune signaling and inflammatory response. It is also used in pulmonary research, vascular biology, neuroendocrine studies and cell signaling work.
Each batch gets an in-house quality review and third-party lab testing. Our own team packs and ships every order.
VIP, short for vasoactive intestinal peptide, is a neuropeptide made of 28 amino acids. Researchers first isolated it from hog small intestine in 1970 (Said and Mutt, 1970).
VIP belongs to the secretin and glucagon family of peptides. It acts through two receptors, VPAC1 and VPAC2. Both respond to VIP and to a related peptide, PACAP, with high affinity (Harmar et al., 2012). Our VIP research guide lists more studies and their sources.
Many sellers say "third-party tested." But testing only counts when the labs are sound and someone reads the reports. We vetted each lab partner before we worked with them.
Batch records are checked for identity, purity and test data before release. Each batch also needs our own sign-off. Testing is one part of a larger quality system. That system also covers supplier checks, proper storage and oversight from intake to shipping. One of our lab partners, ILS Laboratories, is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited. Certificates for published lots are in our COA portal.
You should be able to check the standards we describe. Learn more about the outside labs we work with: ILS Labs and Chromate.
Primary research relevant to the named compound or clearly identified component is linked below. Experimental results depend on identity, model and formulation.
Investigated immune-cell traffic and receptor expression in a specific model. Results depend on the model and do not establish a general treatment claim.
Retain the product label and lot number with the research record. Review the matching certificate of analysis for test coverage and reported results. Identity, analytical purity, measured content, sterility and endotoxin testing are distinct assessments; one does not establish the others.
Follow the supplied label and your laboratory’s validated handling and storage procedures. Record the vehicle, concentration and preparation date where relevant. Dry-material stability does not establish the shelf life of a prepared solution.
The listed milligrams refer to material per vial, not concentration or administration instructions. A prepared solution has its own concentration and stability requirements. Verify the exact selected option and shipping lot.
Open the linked certificate for the assigned lot or use the COA portal. Check sample identity, methods, date and reported measurements. A report for another lot or formulation is not a substitute.
The references describe the materials and conditions used by their authors. They do not establish that this commercial formulation was tested. For blends, evidence on an individual component does not validate the finished mixture or establish synergy.
The current certificate is matched to the selected product option and assigned shipping batch.
