Epitalon is a short peptide of four amino acids: Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, or AEDG. It is also spelled epithalon or epithalone. It was designed in St Petersburg from the amino acid makeup of epithalamin. Epithalamin is an extract of cattle pineal glands, so the two are not the same thing.

Our Epitalon is for researchers who want more than a generic listing. Each batch gets internal QA review and third-party lab testing. Our own team packs and ships every order.
PubMed holds about 160 records on this peptide. About two thirds list Khavinson or Anisimov as an author. Both are St Petersburg researchers. Work by other groups exists, but it is recent and narrow.
The most cited claim in this field is about telomerase. The first report, from 2003, added Epitalon to cultures of human fetal fibroblasts that lacked telomerase. The authors reported that the cells began making active telomerase and that their telomeres grew longer (Khavinson et al., 2003).
In 2025, an outside group in London tested it in human cell lines. In normal cells, they reported longer telomeres through more hTERT and telomerase (Al-Dulaimi et al., 2025). That paper has a published correction. Both reports come from cell culture.
Many sellers say their products are third-party tested. Testing only counts when the labs are credible and someone reads the reports. We vetted each lab partner ourselves before we worked with them.
Testing is one part of our quality system. That system also covers holding suppliers to account, batch review, internal QA, proper storage and in-house shipping. We do not use a 3PL.
You should be able to check our standards. These are the independent labs we work with: ILS Labs and Chromate. Epitalon certificates are in our COA portal. Our epitalon research guide covers the key studies.
Our in-house team processes, inspects, packs and ships every order. We do not pass orders to a third-party logistics warehouse.
That gives us more control over order accuracy, packing, storage and service. Our goal is not to be the cheapest research supplier. It is to supply clean, well-handled compounds with real quality oversight behind them.
Epitalon is sold for lab research only. It is not for human or veterinary use. It is not for medical, diagnostic or therapeutic use. Researchers must handle and store it with care. They must also follow all laws and rules that apply.
Yes: epitalon, epithalon and epithalone are spellings of one synthetic tetrapeptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly (AEDG). Epithalamin is different: it is the bovine pineal gland extract whose amino acid composition the tetrapeptide was based on, and mass spectrometry later detected AEDG among the tetrapeptides of a pineal polypeptide complex.
Length and sequence: epitalon is the tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly and pinealon the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Arg, so they share a Glu-Asp core, and both come from one St Petersburg research program. In a rat pineal gland culture study that tested both, only epitalon of the two stimulated Ki-67 expression and CGRP synthesis. See our epitalon vs pinealon comparison.
Mostly animals and cultured cells: fruit flies, mice, rats and rhesus monkeys, plus human cell lines, mouse oocytes and bovine embryos. Most of it comes from one group: of 143 PubMed records for epitalon, epithalon or epithalone (searched 14 October 2026), 95 list Khavinson or Anisimov, of the St Petersburg program that developed it, as an author.
This page sells Epitalon as a powder lyophilized in the USA, in 10MG and 50MG sizes, and each published lot's certificate of analysis is shown with the lab that tested it. It is sold exclusively for laboratory research purposes, not for human, veterinary, or food use, and ships from Irvine, California, by FedEx 2-Day shipping.
Match the selected product option and assigned shipping lot to the corresponding report in the COA portal. Check the compound or components, sample identification, test date, methods and results actually reported. Results for another lot or formulation are not a substitute.
No. Analytical purity and measured content are different measurements. Compare labeled quantity with measured content only where the report provides a compatible result and unit.
